Things are more than okay!

My freedom days are over. I got employed by a company with a position I really like. So after I finish up the few consulting jobs I have on hand, I will no longer be my own boss. I will keep doing it part-time though! Woohoo! I finally get to *see* people! Work will officially start Monday, December 4th.

今天到老 我像那跌不到
我想做 做我命運符號 用我力鋪我路途
只盼我有日會在星夜裡
那天我會 含淚說聲
我做到

disappointed with Chinamen

Monday, November 20, 2006

i was having lunch with a friend who is a CFIA inspector and we were discussing how scary chinese food products have become. he told me sometimes inspectors from China will come into his office and do job shadowing for a day or two. in the end, the chinese inspectors will ask questions. one of the questions they asked was:

"so how much does it take to bribe one of your inspectors?"

err... we don't take bribes. damn it!

see? this is exactly why i don't buy canned foods, packaged foods imported from china anymore. shame on you people. have you no morals? i mean, feeding hens with toxic colorants to get a redder colored yolk is crazy. did it never occur to them that the WORLD is eating those eggs? it's already shameful to make fake things and to pretend that they work when they actually do nothing. but making things that can cause a health hazard to the public is wayyy out of the line.

sometimes, you gotta admit the brains of those people are actually quite impressive. who would have thought soya sauce can be replaced with human hair? who would have thought rat meat can be served as a chicken meat imitate? why couldn't they use their big brains into good use? if everyone in China does that, China could become a much stronger country and be respected by people around the world.
