back from Vegas! one word - HOT!
for those who haven't had the chance to experience 42oC with the majority of the people there with a smoke in their hands, you can get the same feeling by turning on your oven to 425oF, open the oven door and stick your head next to it.
other than the intense heat, i did had a good time. but yes, it was quite tiring to work early the next day when i only came home at midnight. there was a lot of walking in vegas. i probably had walked more in the past two days than an entire month here in vancouver. i might have lost weight from the all sweating and walking.
in exactly 30 calendar days, i will be on a plane to hk. it will be my first summer in 16 years (well, not exactly a summer in sept but it will be closest to a summer i can get for hk). i don't know if i can survive the type of heat in hk. it is so different from the dry heat in vegas. it's gonna be hot hot hot again!
