ever since i started working at a plant again, I got myself a mp3 player to pass time. of course the first thing I did was to add the music files that I like to the device. however, after a month or so, I grew tired of those songs (who wouldn't when u listen to them for 6+ hrs per day). Just when I was wondering what new stuff I could listen to (I may have mentioned I haven't been listening to any chinese music in years). 有心人 immediately mailed over two flash drives with basically all his chinese music collection. But because the list was too overwhelming, I didn't start listening until last week. I was happy to discover (or re-discover) some hidden gems. I thought I might share a couple with you guys.

突然記起點解喜歡五月天 (Mayday),從十年前的"志明與春嬌＂/"Peter and Mary" 已覺得五月天的音樂十分出色... I really like Ah Shin's music and lyrics. He is so talented, justlike Wong Ka Kui of Beyond...(it takes forever for iPhone to write chinese so I am switching back to english :P). Hope you guys like this and I will post a couple more next time :)




p.s. I know it sounds strange that I listen to music all day at work but I work in an environment where I have to wear a ton of protective gear including a hard hat with ear protection. I pretty much talk to no one the entire day so this is how I make time go slightly faster. Don't worry, your health is not compromised in any way. Your food is still safe to eat. =P

last month, the government gave me a gift of gratitude - a Tim Horten's gift card.

today, I happened to stop by a Tim's and I went in and got myself a medium coffee and a donut. the total came out to be $2.31. I gave the girl the gift card and she said,

"you still owe 19 cents"

...

好像這些年來, 冇 achieve 到任何事. career, health, relationship... 一切好似好順利時,就要 back to square one. 以前好有理想,現在係一堆blur and nothing is right. 好在我算係樂觀人, 如果唔係, 我一早已經去跳樓...

I am going to fix the wrongs one at a time, starting with career. even if I cannot find a job that I like right now, at least I will have to find ways to make myself enjoy it a little bit more.

話低處未算低好似好negative, 不過我就話等fall到rock bottom 就可以谷底反彈.
