how can people do so much in a day? i don't know where all my time went but 24 hrs are definately not enough for me to get things done in a day. it's 4 days until x'mas and i only got TWO presents ready. i am soooooo screwed. the snow and the cold are not helping at all!

the past few days working in the office were freezing cold. seriously, 1/3 of the walls of the office are actually windows. cold air kept coming in. going to work today was definately a challenge. i swear there were times when i really really wanted to make a U-turn and go home because it was really unsafe to drive on the road!! i couldn't see the lines, the curb, and the ditch!! richmond is the worst city, no snowplows!

"nooo!! i am going into the diiiitch!!! no, i am not. noooo, i am going in again!! no, i am not. noooo, i am going in again!! no, i am not."

i was so exhausted by the time i reached the office 7am in the morning. and everyone came in too!! (we are such dedicated employees) and we all sat in the office staring outside the window wondering what the road condition will be like by 6pm when we go home. thank god my supervisors were nice people and they let us go home early so i got home in one piece.

it looks like winter is here to stay. everyone please keep warm and drive safe. don't always trust the tracks on the road because they might lead you to a ditch. if ur car loses control and is heading towards an incoming car from the other side of the lane, always choose the ditch!

okie! Merry Christmas and a Happy 2009!

it's been a little more than a month since i started on the new drug. i must say i must be one of the unlucky ones because on the list of possible RARE side effects, i have almost all of them. last week, i finally went to take my first blood work. last friday, while i was at work, my specialist called me after he received my report. let me explain this, it is never good news when your doctor gives you a call (and he is a frigging specialist). so today, i am going to the doctor to see how "bad" my report looks. it is frustrating to know that there wasn't any improvement (the drug is so expensive it better be doing something!!). i wonder if i am too stressed. i wonder if i should take more time off to rest. but sitting at home doing nothing won't make me feel any better. the work that i do is not labor-intensive anyway.... it's not like i am working at a slaughter plant. stress is not directly from work but the people at work and the whole job security thing do cause a lot of stress.

december is finally here. it seems that november passed by super slowly this year even though i was so occupied. maybe i was too depressed. anyway, december should be a merry month and i am already all booked up with xmas dinners and gatherings! yay! i like to see my schedule looking all busy and stuff. keeps me away from thinking nonsense.

my wishlist:
1. iphone - yes i am getting it... i think. yes, i changed my mind... again =P
2. laptop support from ikea (i need it because i don't have a desk anymore now that my room is 3X smaller than my old room)
3. this is super nice too after i have my #1 above.
4. a new pair of glasses. <-- anyone knows where i can get nice frames?
